The Tipi Wedding Co Experience

We are all about the personal experience. Here’s what you can expect from us!

Step 1: Get in Touch

If you love the sound of what we offer, the first step is to get in touch! We'd love to know how many hats you are thinking, if you have a date or month / year in mind and your venue or land, if you have one sorted! This can be done via email directly, or our contact form on this website.

2. Brochure and Questions

Once we receive your enquiry, we'll send over a brochure PDF with all the information on us, our tipis and what we can offer for your day. We'll also answer any questions you may have had in your initial email. Any questions that pop up from either of you as you look through the brochure, we're always an email away - so please just ask. No question is a silly one!

3. Booking Process

Once you're happy with everything and have decided you'd love to choose us for your day, we'll set you up on our system! This will give you an online login to our platform where you'll find an invoice and contract to sign to confirm your date. 20% of the tipi package itself is due to get you on our calendar, once paid you're officially booked!

4. Welcome Pack

Once booked in, we'll request your home address to send out our tipi wedding company welcome pack in the post. Just a few goodies to say thank you for booking us and that we cannot wait to be a part of your day.

5. Site Visit

Before the day, we'll get a site visit booked in at your venue or land. This is our opportunity to meet, measure out the tipis and discuss where you might like them on the day! This is a great opportunity to ask questions in person as we get closer to the day, too.

6. Floor Planning Tool

When choosing us as your tipi supplier – you’re able to make use of our awesome interactive floor planning tool to design your layout exactly how you imagined! We have a drag and drop system set up for you to create your layout. Before the day, we’ll get you to screenshot it and email it over, ready for set up.

7. Planning Form

6 weeks before the day an automated planning form should land in your inbox! This is to gain all the final details and confirm everything discussed so far for your plans. From addresses and extras to how many benches you would like.

8. Remaining Balance

1 month before your day, the full remaining balance is due. This will include the tipi package booked, plus any extra hire items you may have booked and the horse box hire fee.

9. Set Up Day

If you're getting married on a Saturday, we will typically set up on the Thursday, from around 8:30am. We'll ask you to be there when measuring out, to make sure you're happy with the location of the tipis. Then, it's a full days work for us, so we'll call you once they're ready! We'll grab a signature from you to confirm they're ready for your celebration.

10. The day before the wedding

On the day before your wedding, if you've booked any of our awesome extras - we'll return to site to set these all up for you! Once finished, the place is truly yours from the moment of hire until we take them down again.

11. Your Wedding Day

It's finally here! You can officially marry the love of your life and get to experience the tipi magic you've been waiting for. We know you'll have the best day EVER, so please enjoy every single minute of it! If you've booked our horse box bar, one of our team will be on site throughout the event, but otherwise, we cannot wait to see the photos!

12. The Next Day

We typically take down on a Monday, so if you have plans on the Sunday (such as camping and a BBQ, or want to use the tipis for breakfast the next day!) the tipis are then still there to enjoy. Before we collect, all decor and waste must be cleared, so don't forget to ask a family or friend to help with this so you don't have to on your first day as a married couple!

Once the tipis are down, bringing a close to your amazing weekend, we hope you will have had a wonderful experience with us here at Tipi Wedding Company. It’s a pleasure to work with couples on such an important part of their lives together! After the day, we’d love a review on our social media and google page if you have a moment! If you’re up for it, we’re always up for blogging your wedding here on our website too – to inspire other couples for their days in the future. All that’s left is to enjoy your life as a newly married couple!
